Meet Some Feathered Friends

Living Treasures in the Laurel Highlands has openned a new habitat that you are welcome to enter and meet our family of parakeets. Whether just stopping in to say hello or buying some seed to feed from your hand; this new interactive experience is perfect for the whole family.

The encounter is free of charge.
If you would like to hand feed the parakeets, it is 50 cents per serving.

Rules

• The encounter is intended for ages 2 and up.
• We ask that children between 2 and 4 be held off of the ground by an adult.
• Anyone under the age of 11 must have an adult present with them.
• No outside food or seed permitted.
• Instructions for when in with the birds will be provided by the attendant on duty.
